Why Use a Motorcycle Ramp for Steps?
Steps, kerbs and doorways are a common obstacle when storing or transporting motorcycles. Lifting a heavy bike is not only risky for your back but also dangerous for the bike. A proper motorcycle ramp allows for smooth and safe movement without the need for lifting, in turn reducing the risk of damage to your bike and yourself.
Selecting The Right Motorcycle Ramp for You
- Weight Capacity - Always check the maximum weight you plan to load (the weight of your motorcycle plus any additional weight it will be carrying)
- Your load height / step height - Your load height is the vertical height from the ground to where the ramp will rest, or the height of your step or kerb. This measurement is required as all ramps have a maximum load height to ensure you have a smooth gradient for loading. When loading a motorbike, the maximum recommended gradient is 33%.
- Weight of the ramp - Consider whether you wish to have a portable, lightweight ramp which you simply put down when required or whether you wish to leave the ramp in place. If you plan to take the ramp out with you a folding solution may be more solution.

Rubber Kerb Ramps - For heights from 114mm to 203mm
Durable rubber ramps available in heights from 114mm to 203mm. Simply rest in place and start using.
- 400mm wide, perfect for motorbikes
- Smooth gradient for ease of loading
- Durable 1000kg capacity
- Produced from rubber, can be left outside
- Simply rest against the step or kerb and start using
- Note, due to the weight these are generally left in place
