Rubber Threshold Ramps from 12mm up to 80mm high

Rubber threshold ramps manufactured by The Ramp Factory are made from 100% recycled rubber and feature a 1:10 gradient. Rubber threshold ramps have a high capacity and are suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The ramps are strong, durable, non-slip and are easy to install and maintain. The Ramp Factory offer a variety of sizes, between 12mm and 80mm in this range. The Ramp Factory also offer door sill guards, and rubber threshold ramps in heights 1-4 inches and 4.5-7 inches.

Heights up to 70mm are 1000mm wide. Heights from 74mm and above are sold as a pair of 500mm wide ramps to create a 1000mm width.

The Rubber Threshold Ramps up to 3.14"/80mm high feature:

Designed and built to a 1 in 10 gradient
Heights up to 70mm are sold as singles in 1m wide pieces. Heights from 74mm and above are sold as a pair of ramps, each 500mm wide.
Can support a load of up to 1000kg
Manufactured from 100% recycled rubber compound
Rest & go - to fit just slide up to the threshold and start loading
Can be cut to size to fit space available, for instance with a stanley knife or saw

Please note that the natural smell of rubber is fades after a couple of days in fresh air. To speed the process wiping the surface with a damp cloth with washing up liquid on.

Buy VAT Exempt

Certain goods and services for disabled people are zero-rated for VAT, including mobility aids, as long as the customer is eligible and the goods are for domestic or personal use. All of our wheelchair ramps classify as mobility aids and therefore those eligible can purchase these VAT exempt.

Who is eligible?

VAT relief is available for individuals with chronic illnesses and or disabilities. The wheelchair ramp must be for exclusive use by the disabled individual. VAT relief is also available to registered UK charities.

Who is not eligible?

Businesses are not eligible for VAT relief. VAT relief is also not available where the ramp is being purchased for a group of people to use, except for charities. In addition, those with temporary incapacities, such as broken bones, are required to pay the VAT.

How do I claim my VAT back?

At the checkout stage, prior to entering payment details, there is a VAT exemption box. Simply enter the full name of the person the ramp is for and their disability, or the charity name and number, and tick to confirm it is correct. The VAT will then automatically be removed from your purchase.

Ramp Length & Load Height Information

Load Height & Threshold Ramps

Threshold ramps are designed to be left in place if required and should allow any door to be opened over the top of them - to get the correct height just simply measure the vertical height from the ground to the entrance of the property. So a 3 inch rise requires a 3 inch threshold ramp. These are not always suitable for scooters or electric wheelchairs so please check with us first.
