New widths launch today for our aluminium ramp with handrails!

For those who are seeking a wheelchair ramp with handrails for the workplace, home, or for special events, The Ramp Factory's Wheelchair Ramp with Handrails is an excellent choice. The aluminium wheelchair ramp is available in a range of lengths, from 4 feet to 12 feet, and can be ordered with or without handrails. Due to popular demand, we have now launched a narrower version of this ramp that is 72 cm wide, usable width 69 cm. 

Many people choose this disabled access ramp due to its ability to be purchased with handrails, making it a suitable solution for manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, and pedestrians. A 350 kg capacity makes the ramp an extremely durable solution. Mobility ramps may be used as portable accessibility solutions that can be set up as needed, or as semi-permanent access solutions that can be secured to a step with predrilled mounting points. In addition to being able to be used inside and outside, the solid aluminium ramp can also be left outside. 

There is a curved rest on connection with predrilled holes to enable the ramp to be secured in place where required. As a result of the curved connection, users are able to access and exit the ramp smoothly. 

This aluminium wheelchair ramp has an anti-slip surface and can be purchased with or without handrails. When needed, the handrails can be easily attached to the ramp. The ramp is equipped with 5cm high safety edges that prevent users from falling. 

The ramp can be equipped with double handrails that provide walking assistance and support to those who choose to walk up it. If there is limited space or a handrail already installed on the wall adjacent to the ramp, the ramp can also be used with one handrail. Please note that handrails can only be purchased as a pair.

The foot/base of the ramp is curved to provide users with smooth entry onto the ramp. 

If you are seeking a longer ramp length or if you are concerned about the waiting period for a longer ramp as you wish to move the ramps on a regular basis, we have a joining support available for this ramp range. Using the joining support, two ramps can be connected to create one long ramp, for example, connecting two 8ft ramps to make a 16ft ramp.
