This 2 Part IRV iRamp vehicle folding ramp, part of the Professional range, is available in either standard mesh or tight mesh surfaces for optimum surface transit. It can be used for a variety of applications including wheelchair access, mobility scooters, and a loading ramp for vans
These ramps are made of durable material and can easily be installed in the back of your vehicle. The Ramp Factory's professional range of products are available in a variety of lengths and suitable for a wide range of vehicles. They have an extensive 3 year manufacturer warranty.
Please contact us if a chequered anti-slip surface is required as these can be offered as a custom ramp surface.
Please note the maximum load height noted is based on a 33% gradient, an 18% gradient is advised for ease of loading.

Certain goods and services for disabled people are zero-rated for VAT, including mobility aids, as long as the customer is eligible and the goods are for domestic or personal use. All of our wheelchair ramps classify as mobility aids and therefore those eligible can purchase these VAT exempt.
Who is eligible?
VAT relief is available for individuals with chronic illnesses and or disabilities. The wheelchair ramp must be for exclusive use by the disabled individual. VAT relief is also available to registered UK charities.
Who is not eligible?
Businesses are not eligible for VAT relief. VAT relief is also not available where the ramp is being purchased for a group of people to use, except for charities. In addition, those with temporary incapacities, such as broken bones, are required to pay the VAT.
How do I claim my VAT back?
At the checkout stage, prior to entering payment details, there is a VAT exemption box. Simply enter the full name of the person the ramp is for and their disability, or the charity name and number, and tick to confirm it is correct. The VAT will then automatically be removed from your purchase.

Ramp Length & Load Height: Folding Van Ramps
Getting this correct is critical and a guide to the correct load height is shown in the product description/table. An easy guide for the correct measurements can be found here.
Load Height = this is the vertical measurement from the ground to the deck of the van
Height (mm) on the folding van ramp tables refers to the height of the ramp when folded = check that there is enough space inside your van for the required ramp
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH ROOM IN THE VAN FOR THE RAMP TO FIT
As a general rule you should observe the following
Up to 450mm load height = 2000mm long ramp
Up to 550mm load height = 2250mm long ramp
Up to 600mm load height = 2500mm long ramp
Up to 750mm load height = 3000mm long ramp
Going over this gradient can cause accident, injury or death and may invalidate the warranty.
