Folding Motorbike Ramps FAQs
How do these ramps connect to the vehicle?
The Ramp Factory ramps feature a rest on connection which rests on the area you are loading onto. We supply straps which can be used to secure the ramps in place as well if needed.
What length ramp do I need?
You will need to measure you load height (the vertical height from the ground to where the ramp will rest) as this will impact the length of ramp needed. You can view the suitable load height for all our ramps on their product page.
Are the ramps lightweight?
All of our folding ramps are under 20kg and as they are sold in pairs you only need to move one ramp at a time which makes them easy to move.
Can I buy a single ramp?
Yes, there is the option to buy singles, pairs or kits on the product page.
Is the surface grippy?
The surface is as grippy as we can make it without the surface causing damage to tyres or causing excessive wear to the surface. We have a variety of surfaces available, from mesh or cut-out grip systems so you can choose the most suitable. If used in wet or muddy conditions, then further grip such as grip tape or rubber covering might be needed.
How wide are the ramps?
They are available in various widths, from 230mm to 440mm.
Why are the ramps curved?
The curve in the ramp improves ground clearance.
What else can I load using the ramps?
These ramps are often used to load quad bikes, ride on lawnmowers, garden machinery and ATVs. Please note, you should not load single axle or tracked machinery on the ramps or any other industrial loading. These ramps are for domestic use only, for professional use please view our professional loading ramps.
Do you offer non-folding solutions?
Yes, we offer a range of non-folding loading ramps, which can be seen here.
